Harvesting Basil from a Tower Garden:
Basil You can harvest basil continuously cutting branches as you need them. Basil is bountiful and abundant herb plant that keeps on giving you new leaves and branches as you harvest them. Once your plant has reached 8 leaves, this is the ideal time to start harvest in order to stimulate the plant’s growth and strength. Keep cutting the leaves at the lower base of the stems or half way between the lower pair of leaves and the growing tip. This will stimulate new branch growth in different directions.
